Nearly four years ago DBI SALA made the commitment to create a whole new generation of fall protection equipment for workers. Because harnesses have been basically unchanged since World War II,we decided to change everything! We went out and talked to thousands of workers, then worked alongside ergonomics experts, industrial engineers and sporting goods equipment designers to break the mold. One of the designers, an outstanding outdoor industry designer and creator of high level performance equipment for both recreation and military applications (where excitement and function go hand-in-hand), stated,“Workers who wear safety harnesses are like skilled athletes.They need equipment that is easy to put on and adjust, comfortable, light, cool, and ‘bomb-proof,’ which means it must withstand the rigors of a fall and not fail. We also want to introduce an element of style...” The result is outstanding. By taking a “fine toothed comb” approach, no detail was left to chance. Every component is an innovation and improvement on current designs.
